My
first paying job was a commercial for a gentleman's
club. It didn't pay very well but I did learn a
lot about shot composition.
While shooting "Mysteries
of the Americas" in Mexico, I had to rent
a car and drive to another city for a shoot. I
will never complain about traffic in L.A. again!
While shooting "The
Gathering" I left a Steppenwolf concert we
were shooting after a very long day. I just happened
to be on my bike. I got on, started it up, put
it in gear, let out the clutch, and immediately
crashed! I forgot to unlock the forks!

taken for the final composites. Running
time: 1 minute 1 second

of 2D and 3D animation and a multitude of

"St.
Paul Hospital" - This was a great project
to be a part of. The live action plates
were shot in 35mm film and cut to an animated
pinball machine. Note the real world physics
on the ball motion as it falls from the
top of the machine. The real beauty of this
project, and I don't know how we did it,
was we created it in less than 3 weeks!
Running time: 30 seconds.
"The
Gathering - Code of the West" - This
was a documentary feature sent to HBO/Cinemax.
Production spanned nearly 2 years and looks

others. Intro and program open. Running

This

is possible for practical applications.

This
spot was developed to run heavily during
the 2005 football season. While the theme
has little to do with air conditioning,
it has great appeal for the football viewing
audiance.

The client really knew the value of looking

get the spot exactly how they wanted. Perdeption
is everything and this spot oozes class!

"Max's
Pet Store" - This client faced many challenges
with this spot. His store was small and was
not terribly attractive to shoot on video.
The solution? Just take a look and you'll
see the benefit of creative advertising. He
looks like a million!
